Anti-ANT3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ANT3 is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 25 member 6, encoded by the SLC25A6 gene in humans. This 298-amino acid residue protein is reported to be an ADP:ATP antiporter that mediates import of ADP into the mitochondrial matrix for ATP synthesis, and export of ATP out to fuel the cell (By similarity). It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell and features methylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in erythrocytes. Other synonyms for ANT3 include AAC3, ANT, and ANT 2. Indicated applications for ANT3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
