Anti-Citrin antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Citrin is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 25 member 13, encoded by the SLC25A13 gene in humans. This 675-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the liver and low levels in the kidney, pancreas, placenta, heart and brain. Other synonyms for Citrin include ARALAR2 and ARALAR2. Indicated applications for Citrin antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
