Anti-TMEM86A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 86A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 240 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is a member of the TMEM86 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include lysoplasmalogenase-like protein TMEM86A. TMEM86A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMEM86A antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
