Anti-DUX5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein double homeobox 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 197 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in hepatoma Hep3B cells. A member of the Paired homeobox protein family, DUX5 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include double homeobox protein 5, double homeobox protein 1, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and DUX1. These DUX5 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
