Anti-CD174 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CD174 antigen is another term for the human protein fucosyltransferase 3 (Lewis blood group), encoded by the FUT3 gene. The protein is known to function in the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 361 residues and a mass of 42.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi and it is reported to be highly expressed in the stomach, colon, small intestine, lung and kidney and to a lesser extent in salivary gland, bladder, uterus and liver. The CD174 protein is a member of the Glycosyltransferase 10 protein family. Other alias names for CD174 include FT3B.
