Anti-LRRC17 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein leucine rich repeat containing 17. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 441 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.8 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in osteoblast cell lines. LRRC17 is known to be involved in bone homeostasis. Synonyms for this target antigen include leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 17, 37 kDa leucine-rich repeat (LRR) protein, and P37NB. LRRC17 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some LRRC17 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
