Anti-TMEM64 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 64. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 380 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and membrane. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TVP38/TMEM64 protein family, TMEM64 is known to be involved with the regulation of Wnt signaling pathways and the regulation of cell differentiation. TMEM64 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA is the most common application for the TMEM64 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
