Anti-EAP30 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EAP30 is a known alias name of the protein SNF8 subunit of ESCRT-II, encoded by the SNF8 gene in humans. This 258-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the endosomal sorting complex required for transport II (ESCRT-II), which is required for multivesicular body (MVB) formation and sorting of endosomal cargo proteins into MVBs. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for EAP30 include Dot3 and Dot3. Indicated applications for EAP30 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
