Anti-OR5J2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 5 subfamily J member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 312 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 5J2 and olfactory receptor OR11-266. OR5J2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR5J2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
