Anti-POTED antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein POTE ankyrin domain family member D. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 584 amino acid residues and a mass of 66.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in prostate, ovary, testis, placenta and prostate cancer cell lines. It is a member of the POTE protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include Expressed in prostate, ovary, testis, and placenta, ankyrin repeat domain 21, ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 21, cancer/testis antigen family 104, member 1, and ANKRD26-like family B member 3. Western Blot is the most common application for the POTED antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
