Anti-OR51M1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily M member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 326 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR51M1 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include odorant receptor HOR5'beta7, olfactory receptor OR11-40, and olfactory receptor 51M1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR51M1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
