Anti-TMX4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein thioredoxin related transmembrane protein 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 349 amino acid residues and a mass of 39 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include thioredoxin domain containing 13, thioredoxin domain-containing protein 13, and protein disulfide isomerase family A, member 14. TMX4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TMX4 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
