Anti-SPRR2E antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein small proline rich protein 2E. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 72 amino acid residues and a mass of 7.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. A member of the Cornifin (SPRR) protein family, SPRR2E is known to be involved with epidermis development. Synonyms for this target antigen include SPR-II, small proline-rich protein II, and SPR-2E.
