Anti-Cerebral dopamine neurotrophic factor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CDNF in humans. The gene may also be known as ARMETL1, ARMET-like protein 1, and arginine-rich, mutated in early stage tumors-like 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 21 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
