Anti-LIS1 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene PAFAH1B1, or 'platelet activating factor acetylhydrolase 1b regulatory subunit 1' in humans. The 410-amino acid protein is a member of the WD repeat LIS1/nudF family. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic and nuclear.
