Anti-TMEM81 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 81. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 255 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. TMEM81 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
