Anti-RALDH2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The RALDH2 antigen is another term for the human protein aldehyde dehydrogenase 1 family member A2, encoded by the ALDH1A2 gene. The protein is known to function in blood vessel development and cell proliferation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 518 residues and a mass of 56.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The RALDH2 protein is a member of the Aldehyde dehydrogenase protein family. Other alias names for RALDH2 include DIH4 and RALDH(II).
