Anti-TRIP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TRIP is a known alias name of the protein TRAF interacting protein, encoded by the TRAIP gene in humans. This 469-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and DNA damage pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated and sumoylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for TRIP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
