Anti-DCAF11 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 11. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 546 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.7 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. DCAF11 is believed to function as a a substrate receptor for CUL4-DDB1 E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include WD repeat domain 23 and WD repeat-containing protein 23. DCAF11 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some DCAF11 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
