Anti-MARK antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MARK antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MARK1 gene, which encodes microtubule affinity regulating kinase 1. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. The human version of MARK has a canonical amino acid length of 795 residues and a protein mass of 89 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells. This target antigen may also be known as Par-1c.
