Anti-OR52D1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 52 subfamily D member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 318 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR52D1 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include HOR 5'Beta14, odorant receptor HOR5'beta14, olfactory receptor OR11-43, and olfactory receptor 52D1. OR52D1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and rat species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR52D1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
