Anti-C2CD4A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein C2 calcium dependent domain containing 4A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 369 amino acid residues and a mass of 39.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably expressed in endothelial cells. A member of the C2CD4 protein family, C2CD4A is suspected to be involved in inflammatory process. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 148, member A, nuclear localized factor 1, and C2 calcium-dependent domain-containing protein 4A. C2CD4A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species.
