Anti-SMRT antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene NCOR2, or 'nuclear receptor corepressor 2' in humans. The 2514-amino acid protein is a member of the N-CoR nuclear receptor corepressors family. The cellular localization is predicted to be nuclear.
