Anti-LARP1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein La ribonucleoprotein 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 914 amino acid residues and a mass of 105.3 kDa. Up to 9 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the breast, tonsil, and bone marrow. It is a member of the LARP protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include la-related protein 1B, La ribonucleoprotein domain family member 1B, La ribonucleoprotein domain family, member 2, la-related protein 2, and LARP2. LARP1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the LARP1B antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
