Anti-HIC5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the HIC5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TGFB1I1 gene, which encodes transforming growth factor beta 1 induced transcript 1. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and epithelial cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of HIC5 has a canonical amino acid length of 461 residues and a protein mass of 49.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, cell junctions, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix, vagina, and adipose tissue. This target antigen may also be known as ARA55. Indicated applications for HIC5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
