Anti-ISLET1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ISLET1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ISL1 gene, which encodes ISL LIM homeobox 1. This protein is known to function in neuronal development and the Wnt signaling pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of ISLET1 has a canonical amino acid length of 349 residues and a protein mass of 39 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. Western Blot is the most common application for the ISLET1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
