Anti-LCN15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein lipocalin 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 184 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.5 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably expressed in the small intestine, rectum, duodenum, and colon. It is a member of the Lipocalin protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include MSFL2541. LCN15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Some LCN15 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
