Anti-HSP105 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HSP105 is a known alias name of the protein heat shock protein family H (Hsp110) member 1, encoded by the HSPH1 gene in humans. This 858-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a nucleotide-exchange factor (NEF) for chaperone proteins HSPA1A and HSPA1B, promoting the release of ADP from HSPA1A/B thereby triggering client/substrate protein release. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the testis. The term HSP105A is another synonym for HSP105. Western Blot is the most common application for the HSP105 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
