Anti-IL1RA antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the IL1RA antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the IL6R gene, which encodes interleukin 6 receptor. This protein is known to function in cytokine-mediated signaling pathways and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of IL1RA has a canonical amino acid length of 468 residues and a protein mass of 51.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CD126, HIES5, and IL-1Ra. Western Blot is the most common application for the IL1RA antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
