Anti-Unconventional SNARE in the ER 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene USE1 in humans. The gene may also be known as SLT1, D12, Q-snare, MDS032, P31, and vesicle transport protein USE1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 29.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, yeast, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
