Anti-ARFGAP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ADP ribosylation factor GTPase activating protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 521 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, Golgi, and cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. ARFGAP2 is known to be involved with protein transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include GTPase-activating protein ZNF289 and zinc finger protein 289, ID1 regulated. ARFGAP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ARFGAP2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
