Anti-ERP29 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein endoplasmic reticulum protein 29. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 261 amino acid residues and a mass of 29 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. ERP29 is known to be involved with intracellular protein transport and the regulation of gene expression. Synonyms for this target antigen include ERp28, ERp31, HEL-S-107, PDI-DB, PDIA9, and C12orf8. ERP29 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ERp29 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
