Anti-TMEM150C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 150C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 249 amino acid residues and a mass of 27.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the lysosomes and cell membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the epididymis and lung. A member of the DRAM/TMEM150 protein family, TMEM150C is a known component of the mechanosensitive cation channel. Synonyms for this target antigen include tentonin 3. TMEM150C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMEM150C antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
