Anti-BCLG antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BCLG antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BCL2L14 gene, which encodes BCL2 like 14. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of BCLG has a canonical amino acid length of 327 residues and a protein mass of 36.6 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis, hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. BCLG is a member of the Bcl-2 protein family. Indicated applications for BCLG antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
