Anti-AAC2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target AAC2 is a known alias name of the protein N-acetyltransferase 2, encoded by the NAT2 gene in humans. This 290-amino acid residue protein is known to participate in the detoxification of a plethora of hydrazine and arylamine drugs. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell.
