Anti-TTC9 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tetratricopeptide repeat domain 9. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 222 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.4 kDa. A member of the TTC9 protein family, TTC9 is known to be involved with bone development. Synonyms for this target antigen include tetratricopeptide repeat protein 9A, TPR repeat protein 9A, and TTC9A. TTC9 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species.
