Anti-OR10G3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 10 subfamily G member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 313 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 10G3, olfactory receptor OR14-40, and OR14-40. OR10G3 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine and chimpanzee species. ELISA and Western Blot are common applications for OR10G3 antibodies.
