Anti-VN1R2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein vomeronasal 1 receptor 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 395 amino acid residues and a mass of 44.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, VN1R2 is believed to be a type of pheromone receptor. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation.
