Anti-CEACAM19 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CEA cell adhesion molecule 19. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 300 amino acid residues and a mass of 32.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the CEA protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include carcinoembryonic antigen related cell adhesion molecule 19, carcinoembryonic antigen-like 1, and carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 19. CEACAM19 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CEACAM19 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Flow Cytometry are also common applications.
