Anti-ARHGAP28 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Rho GTPase activating protein 28. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 729 amino acid residues and a mass of 82.1 kDa. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. ARHGAP28 is known to be a GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. Synonyms for this target antigen include rho-type GTPase-activating protein 28. ARHGAP28 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ARHGAP28 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
