Anti-RPL41 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ribosomal protein L41. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 25 amino acid residues and a mass of 3.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Eukaryotic ribosomal protein eL41 protein family, RPL41 is a known component of the large ribosomal subunit. Synonyms for this target antigen include eL41, 60S ribosomal protein L41, HG12 protein, homologue of yeast ribosomal protein YL41, large ribosomal subunit protein eL41, and L41. RPL41 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the RPL41 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
