Anti-OR8B4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 8 subfamily B member 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 309 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR8B4 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways and the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor OR11-315, olfactory receptor, family 8, subfamily B, member 4 pseudogene, and olfactory receptor 8B4. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR8B4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
