Anti-JOSD2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Josephin domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 188 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. JOSD2 is known to be involved with protein deubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include josephin-2 and josephin domain-containing protein 2. JOSD2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some Josd2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
