Anti-OR51G2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily G member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 35 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 51G2 and olfactory receptor OR11-28. OR51G2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the OR51G2 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
