Anti-OR51B6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily B member 6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 312 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR51B6 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include odorant receptor HOR5'beta6, olfactory receptor 51B5, and olfactory receptor 51B6. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR51B6 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
