Anti-NFkB p105 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The NFkB p105 antigen is another term for the human protein nuclear factor kappa B subunit 1, encoded by the NFKB1 gene. The protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 968 residues and a mass of 105.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. Other alias names for NFkB p105 include CVID12, EBP-1, and KBF1. Some NFkB p105 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
