Anti-LEF-1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LEF-1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the LEF1 gene, which encodes lymphoid enhancer binding factor 1. This protein is known to function in the Wnt signaling pathway and cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of LEF-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 399 residues and a protein mass of 44.2 kilodaltons, although 7 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in the spleen, oral mucosa, lymph node, bone marrow, and appendix. LEF-1 is a member of the TCF/LEF protein family.
