Anti-NFIL6 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The NFIL6 antigen is another term for the human protein CCAAT enhancer binding protein beta, encoded by the CEBPB gene. The protein is known to function in brown fat cell differentiation and the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 345 residues and a mass of 36.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed at low levels in the lung, kidney and spleen. The NFIL6 protein is a member of the BZIP protein family. Other alias names for NFIL6 include C/EBP-beta, IL6DBP, and NF-IL6. A number of NFIL6 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
