Anti-EXD3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein exonuclease 3'-5' domain containing 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 876 amino acid residues and a mass of 96.6 kDa. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Mut-7 protein family, EXD3 is known to be involved with metabolic processes. Synonyms for this target antigen include mut-7, exonuclease mut-7 homolog, exonuclease 3'-5' domain-containing protein 3, nibbler homolog, testicular tissue protein Li 125, and Nbr. EXD3 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the EXD3 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
