Anti-LC3C antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LC3C antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAP1LC3C gene, which encodes microtubule associated protein 1 light chain 3 gamma. This protein is known to function in autophagy pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of LC3C has a canonical amino acid length of 147 residues and a protein mass of 16.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cytoplasm of cells. LC3C is a member of the ATG8 protein family. Indicated applications for LC3C antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
